Dr. Ezekiel Oburu

Dr Ezekiel Oburu is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in general orthopedics including hip, knee, shoulder and foot and ankle surgery.Dr Oburu manages patient conditions associated with arthritis, trauma & sports injuries, supporting their return to an active lifestyle. With significant experience, both locally and overseas, he employs the latest techniques in the management of patients.

He is a lecturer with the University of Nairobi and is actively involved to teaching both undergraduates and post graduate students.

After graduating from the University or Nairobi in 1998, he obtained a Masters in General Surgery from the same institution in 2004. His orthopaedic training was in west of Scotland and he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in Orthopaedics and Trauma in 2011. He then attended a fellowship in Hip and Knee reconstructions in Adelaide Australia before returning home to Kenya in 2012. In 2016 Dr Oburu received further training in foot and ankle surgery at the Institute of Foot And Ankle Reconstructive Surgery in Baltimore, U.S.A. under Dr.Mark Myerson. Later in the same year, at Stoke on Trent, he was trained in arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder surgery.
